MessagePay

Client loan management

Objective

MessagePay requested a full redesign of their customer and admin experiences, specifically updating the UI so that it’s more friendly and modern.

Requirements

MessagePay needs to be accessible as both mobile and desktop applications and allow for a seamless and consistent experience on each. And because there’s a large number of functionality within the application, we needed to make sure that the redesign didn’t leave anything out and made sense in the hierarchy of actions.

Exploration

The initial styling changes were a success with leadership and we started exploring different layouts to make sure we properly accommodated all of the necessary information. One example was separating the account and client information from each other and placing them in their own containers for easier editing and digestion.

Solution

The project is still in process and being developed by the engineering team as we redesign other areas of the app, including the admin dashboards and reporting. The new design includes white-labeling for each new credit union or bank to implement their own branding throughout.

Summary

In summary, this project has quickly become one of my favorite I’ve helped move forward. Making sure the entire experience could be white-labeled, as well as properly organizing all of the information on each view, became a very challenging and rewarding experience.
